Technical SEO services for the pages Google can't see (yet).

Good pages still fail when Google can't reach them, can't render them, or gets told to ignore them. Our technical SEO services find where that happens, fix it in the code, and prove the fix in your server logs.

What is included

If Google can't index it, nothing else on the page counts.

4 rules for the layer of search your visitors never see and your rankings depend on.

  1. We check what the crawler holds once the page renders. Content that arrives by script can be invisible to it.

    How a build runs
  2. Canonicals, sitemaps, robots rules and internal links all point at the same version of each page. No signal contradicts another.

    See the work
  3. Schema for each page type is matched to what is visible on the page and then validated. A plugin's guess at your business won't cut it.

    The proof we show
  4. Core Web Vitals are judged on field data from your own visitors, template by template. The fix lands where the traffic is.

How it runs

From first call to launch, minus the headaches.

You see the page plan before design starts, and the design before we build. So there are no nasty surprises at the end.

Step 1

Crawl

We crawl and render the site the way Google does. Then we compare what we find with what is in the index.

What we deliver

  • Full rendered crawl
  • Index coverage comparison
  • Server log sample
  • Fixed quote with line items
A business owner laughing during a video strategy call on his laptop, in a light-filled room with a window behind him

Step 2

Diagnose

Each issue is traced to its cause and ranked by how many earning pages it touches. The fix list starts where the money is.

What we deliver

  • Issues ranked by impact
  • Root cause for each
  • Crawl waste measured
  • Fix plan agreed
A crowd of people crossing a busy city street, shot from above with their movement blurred

Step 3

Fix

We make the fixes in the code, or write them up as changes your developer can merge. Every template is tested before it ships.

What we deliver

  • Indexing and canonical fixes
  • Redirect chains collapsed
  • Schema by page type
  • Internal links corrected
Three colleagues around a table of laptops, one standing and gesturing at a screen while the other two look on

Step 4

Speed

We work on Core Web Vitals in the templates that carry the traffic. They are judged on live visits instead of a single lab run.

What we deliver

  • Field data baseline
  • Template-level speed fixes
  • Image and script budget
  • Layout shift removed
Blue and lime patch cables plugged into a rack panel and sweeping away in order

Step 5

Verify

We check the logs again to show the crawler changed its behaviour. Then we hand over the checks that caught each problem, so it stays caught.

What we deliver

  • Log comparison after fixes
  • Recrawl and index check
  • Console validation
  • Regression checks handed over

The long read

The part of SEO nobody sees (until it breaks).

A crawler reads your site differently from any visitor. Most technical problems live in that difference.

Crawl budget gets spent whether you plan it or not

Google gives every site a limited amount of crawler attention. On most sites a large share of it goes on filter pages, parameters, old redirects and duplicates.

Every visit spent there is a visit not spent on a new service page or an updated price.

The server logs show exactly where the attention goes. We read them, close the dead ends, and read them again to confirm the crawler moved.

Crawler visits reaching pages that matter
Pages that matter Duplicates and dead ends

Illustrative: the shape a log comparison tends to show, not a measurement of your site.

A page can look perfect and index empty

Your browser runs every script and shows the finished page. The crawler may have been handed a shell with the content still to arrive.

When rendering is slow or fails, the page is indexed thin or not at all. Nothing on screen tells you.

So every check we run is on the rendered HTML. That is the version the crawler keeps, and it can differ from the one you see.

Log files are the only honest witness

A crawl tool tells you what a crawler could do. The logs record what it did.

They show which pages it visits, how often, and which it has quietly stopped visiting. That is the evidence a fix worked, and the early warning when a release breaks something.

What technical SEO can't do

It removes the obstacles. It doesn't make a page worth ranking, and a thin page that is perfectly indexed is still a thin page.

If the problem turns out to be content or demand, we'll say so and point you at the right fix. If you're not sure which it is, an SEO audit is the cheaper place to start.

Questions

What people ask about technical SEO.

What you need to know before we start a conversation.

Not answered here? Ask us directly

Do you make the fixes or just report them?

We make them. We work in your codebase, or write the changes up so your developer can review and merge them. A finding nobody fixes keeps costing you every week it sits in a spreadsheet, so the fix is the job.

Can you work on a site another team built?

Most of our technical SEO work is on sites we didn't build, whether they run on WordPress, Shopify or custom code. We work in your repository or alongside your developer. Then we hand over the checks, so the same problems don't creep back in.

Why do you need our server logs?

Server logs are the only record of what Google's crawler did on your site. A crawl tool shows what a crawler could do. The logs show what it did, page by page, before and after the fixes. That is how we prove a fix worked.

Our site is built with a JavaScript framework. Is that a problem?

Not always, but it's where rendering problems hide. Your browser runs every script, while a crawler may index the page before the content arrives. We check the rendered HTML Google keeps, and move important content into the first HTML response where it matters.

How much do technical SEO services cost?

The fix sprint gets a fixed quote with line items, set after the first crawl shows how big and tangled the site is. Ongoing technical care is a separate monthly service, quoted on its own. Either way you know the price before work starts, and there are no lock-in contracts.

Is technical SEO the same as an SEO audit?

They are related. An SEO audit diagnoses technical, content and link problems and ranks them by value. Technical SEO is the doing: the crawl and index fixes, made in the code and checked in the logs. Many clients start with an audit, then hand us the technical part of the list.

Does schema help healthcare websites?

Schema helps search engines read who you are, where you practise and which services you offer. We mark up only what is visible on the page, so the structured data matches what patients see. Practitioner, location and service pages each get the schema type that fits them.
