The rules of the trade

What shippers check first.

Transport buyers carry obligations of their own. The site shows you understand them, stated as fact and without overreach.

  1. Chain of Responsibility is on their checklist

Under the Heavy Vehicle National Law, parties across the supply chain share duties for safety. Many shippers ask how you manage fatigue, mass and maintenance, so the site says where that information lives.

  2. Accreditation shown as held

NHVAS modules such as mass, maintenance and fatigue are listed only where you hold them, as you supply them. Nothing is implied by a logo you are not entitled to use.

  3. Dangerous goods stated precisely

If you carry dangerous goods under the Australian Dangerous Goods Code, the site names the classes and the licences you hold. If you don't, it says so, which saves everyone a call.

  4. A quote form asks what a quote needs

Pickup and delivery postcodes, weight, dimensions, pallet count and timing. Without them your team rings back, and the shipper has already asked someone else.

How it runs

From first call to launch, minus the headaches.

You see the page plan before design starts, and the design before we build. So there are no nasty surprises at the end.

It starts with a call

A conversation about what you sell, who buys it, and what the current site is costing you.

The long read

Shippers want answers fast.

AI can make a freight site look the part in an hour. Shippers still only want to know if you run their lane.

One page per lane beats one page of everything

A shipper moving pallets from Melbourne to Perth searches for exactly that.

A services page that says national freight answers it vaguely. A page that names both ends, the transit time and the load types answers it in full.

We build lane pages for the routes you run, and nothing for the ones you don't.

Your quote form is your dispatcher's first job

Most freight forms ask for a name, an email and a message. Then the phone tag starts.

We design the form around what your team needs to price a job, so a request can be priced without a phone call.

A courier job gets fewer fields and a full load gets more. The form changes as the shipper answers.

Repeat customers would rather click than call

After the first job, most of your contact is a customer asking where their freight is.

For repeat customers, a login beats a phone line. It shows bookings, status and proof of delivery in one place.

Where your systems allow it, we connect the portal to them, so your team never keys a job in twice.

Questions

What operators ask before they start.

What you need to know before we start a conversation.

Not answered here? Ask us directly

Can quote requests go straight into our TMS?

It depends on your TMS. If it has an open API, it can often be done. We check it on the free strategy call before we quote. Requests can also go into a CRM such as HubSpot or Salesforce, so nobody re-keys a load.

We have depots in several states. How does that work for search?

Each depot can have its own page with its address, hours and services. Each one also gets a Google Business Profile, so nearby businesses can find it.

Should we publish rates?

That is your call. Some operators show indicative pallet rates to filter enquiries. Others keep pricing to the quote. The site can do either cleanly.

Do you check our Chain of Responsibility compliance?

No. We present the policies and accreditations you supply. Compliance advice should come from your own advisers or the regulator.

How much does a logistics website cost?

Every site gets a fixed quote with line items after a free 15-minute strategy call. Lane pages, depot pages and any portal move it most. Our brand and website package starts from $6,100 + GST.

How long does it take?

Most websites take 4 to 12 weeks. A customer portal adds time, and you get a dated schedule before you commit.
